“This was the most challenging formula. What is the essence of creativity that will foster novel ideas and their execution? Bottling that would be a boon to our well-being and quality of life. I searched the aromatherapy literature to seek the essential oils most often associated with creativity and identified terpenes and terpenoids common to their composition. The result is a blend of limonene, citronellol, alpha phellandrene, alpha-pinene and linalool with a selection of other aromatics to spur the imagination.”
 – Dr. Ethan Russo

The Terpology Effects-Based Terpene Profiles formulated by Dr. Ethan Russo are 100% All-Natural and botanical terpene blends that encourage specific mood-elevating experiences. The compounds contained within each profile are naturally found in nature.

Each profile has been formulated by Dr. Ethan Russo, board-certified neurologist and research pioneer in psychopharmacology. Dr. Russo is known for his 20+ years of research and education surrounding the Entourage Effect and terpenes.

About the Brand

True Terpenes Strain Profiles are made with all natural, non-gmo, organic, food grade isolated compounds derived from non-cannabis sources. Steam-extracted from the highest quality plant material, True Terpenes are the concentrated essence of your favorite strains in the palm of your hand. Each terpene profile is curated using quality analytics to positively reflect their namesake plant.

What are Terpenes?

Terpenes are the essential oils produced by plants which make the flavour and scent different from the next.  True Terpenes enables you to control your personal experience by reintroducing many of the same terpenes that are lost between the time your herb is harvested, processed, and consumed. You can use terpenes to enhance your dry flower and extracts.

You can also add terpenes to beverages, body lotions, baking and food preparation, etc. Terpenes should always be diluted and never applied to skin or consumed on its own. Terpenes do not contain any THC, CBD, VG, PG, PEG or MCT. The terpenes that we sell on our website are not cannabis derived.

The brand True Terpenes replicates strain profiles by using terpenes sourced from other plants such as lavender, lemon, pine, etc. and then combines them to create unique scents and flavours (not extracted or sourced from cannabis plants).

Instructions for Use

Extracts:
Add 1 to 4 drops of terpenes per 1 gram of extract, mix well on low heat, and store in a closed glass container.  Let the mixture sit for 24+ hours.  A little more terpenes will result in a thinner oil but too much will result in a poor experience.

Dry Herbs:
Grind approximately 1 gram and place in a glass container, add 1 to 2 drops of terpenes.  Close the container and shake well.  Allow your herbs to rest and cure for 10+ minutes.

Other uses:
Water Pipes / Bongs – Add 1 to 2 drops to the water
Lotion or Salve – Add 1 to 4 drops
Essential Oil Diffuser – Add 1 to 4 drops
Candles - Add 15ml to 1lb of wax flakes
Baking & Food - Replaces synthetic flavouring
Perfume - Add 1 to 4 drops to the carrier oil of your choice
Use in place of essential oils for candle, soap, and scrub recipes

Storage Requirements

Keep in original container, lid securely tightened and away from heat, open flames, sunlight, combustible materials and hot surfaces.

Store in a cool dry place. Improper storage can cause terpenes to degrade.
